Eucharist

"My meat is real food"

In the Holy Eucharist, Jesus Christ is truly, really, and substantially present. He invites us to a profound union with him by receiving his Body and Blood in Holy Communion.

When Jesus revealed this teaching, many found it difficult to accept and decided to stop following him (cf. John 6:60, 66). However, the Church has faithfully preserved this truth, transmitted by Christ and lived since the earliest days of Christianity.

Preparation for First Communion helps children understand the great gift of the Eucharist, grow in their love for Jesus, and receive Him worthily for the first time. It also encourages them to cultivate a life of prayer and encounter Him in Eucharistic Adoration, dedicating moments of silence and recollection before His real presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
